Obituary of Norma Hopkinson

HOPKINSON, Dr. Norma Elizabeth Joyce.Peacefully at the Owen Sound Hospital on Thursday, June 29th, 2006 in her 83rd year. Dr. Norma Hopkinson of Lee Manor in Owen Sound and formerly of Kelso Villa, Owen Sound and Lion's Head. Beloved wife of the Late Mervyn (Hoppy) Hopkinson. Loving mother of Joan (Steve) Irvine of Big Bay, Mary Hopkinson of Owen Sound and Bruce (Ann) Hopkinson of Lansdown. Special grandmother of Kathleen, Seth, Elley, Audrey, and Emil. Dear sister of Eleanor (Gary) Corlett of Shelburne, Bob (Anita) Cook of Grand Bend, and Doug (Pat) Cook of Hensel.The family will receive friends at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME 430 Mary Street, Wiarton on Sunday July 2nd from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. A memorial service will be conducted from Central United Church, Main Street Lion's Head on Monday July 3rd at 2:00 PM with Rev. Audrey Brown officiating. At Norma's request, her body has been donated to the University of Western Ontario, London. Donations to the Dr. Mervin Hopkinson Scholarship Fund or the Georgian Bay Symphony would be appreciated.
