Obituary of Bernard McKillop

McKILLOP, Bernard (Barney)of Wiarton passed away suddenly on Monday, June 12th, 2006 at Grey Bruce Regional Health Centre, Owen Sound in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Margaret and dear father of Brian (Sandra) of Markdale. Cherished grandfather of Janine (Mike) Love of Chesley and Jessica of London. He will be sadly missed by his step-children Carole (Mike) Cleary of Allenford, Jim (Linda) Wyonch of Colpoy's Bay, Nancy Wyonch (Brian Cleaver) of Port Elgin, Debbie (Steven) Scott of Port Elgin and Janet Wyonch of Milton, seven step-grandchildren and one step-great grandchild. He was predeceased by his parents, his first wife Dorothy and his brother Harold.Barney was a former Councillor and Mayor of Wiarton. Prior to that he was retired from the Toronto Transit Commission.The family will receive friends at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on Wednesday, June 14th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. where the funeral service to celebrate Barney's life will be held on Thursday, June 15th at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. David Leggatt officiating. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
