Obituary of Hector Dennis Smith

Smith, Dennis Hectorpassed away peacefully at his residence with family by his side on Saturday, March 4, 2006 in his 66th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Linda Burley. He will be sadly missed by step-son Allan Burley, step-daughter Irene Burley and her husband John Brecker, brother-in-law Don Dixon, nephew Mark (Fran) Dixon and their children Jacob and Ben and niece Denise Dixon and her son Lucas. Dennis was predeceased by his parents Captain Ivor Smith and Mabel Burley, one brother and one sister.The family will receive friends at the Davidson Chapel, 71 Main Street, Lions Head on Monday, March 6th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. At the request of Dennis, there will be no funeral service. Cremation to follow. Donations to the Lions Head Hospital would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton.
