Obituary of Turner John Hesson

Hesson John Turnerof Lions Head and formerly of Oakville passed away on Monday February 6, 2006 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Flora and dear father of John (Sandy Stockman) Hesson of Owen Sound, Susan (Jarvis) Sheridan of Oakville and Cathy (Terry Beresford) Hesson of Lions Head. Sadly missed by grandchildren Anna (Matthew) Sheridan-Jonah of Sackville, New Brunswick, Cristin Sheridan of Halifax, Nova Scotia and Jonathan Sheridan of Oakville, great-grandchildren Thea and Linden Sheridan-Jonah and sister Mary (Les) Blacker of Toronto. He was predeceased by his parents, brother and sister-in-law Howard and his wife Vivian.John was a member of the Lions Head Legion, was a flying officer of the Royal Canadian Air Force and served in the Middle East from 1942 to 1945. Upon his return to Canada he worked for Beaver Lumber for 42 years. He was an active member and organist of Christ Church, Lions Head.Visitation will be at the Christ Church in Lions Head on Thursday February 9th from 12:00 noon until time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jawn Kolohon officiating. Spring interment Eastnor Cemetery, Lions Head. Memorial donations may be made to the Lions Head Hospital as expressions of sympathy.
