Obituary of Robert Mansfield

 The Reverend Robert Stanley 'Bob' Mansfield peacefully with family by his side at Lion's Head Hospital Friday afternoon March 28, 2014.  Rev. Bob Mansfield of Lion's Head in his 93rd year.  Cherished husband of Kathleen 'Kay' (nee Tompkins) whom he married in 1947.  Loving Dad to Father Robert and his wife Joyce of Parry Sound, David and his wife Maxine of Lion's Head, Michael and his wife Barbara of Georgetown, James and his wife Joan of Oshawa and Marc and his wife Sharon of Courtice.  Loved grandfather of Rob & Jenn, Faith & Jim, Geoff & Karen, Elaine & Jay, Sarah & Brad, Rachel & Jay, Paul & Samantha, Ryan & Rosanne, Timothy & Jackie, Michael & Lori, Andrew & Jessie, Ashley, Zachary, Daniel & Erin, Rebecca & Steven and Thomas & Karla and great grandfather of 17.  Dear brother of Helen Eedy of London and Eric and his wife Eleanor of Exeter.  Predeceased by his brothers John and Joe.  Rev. Mansfield was a veteran of WWII obtaining the rank of Staff Sargent with the RCEME.  He was ordained in 1953 as an Anglican Priest and recently celebrated his 60 year anniversary.  Friends may call at the  GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, LION'S HEAD CHAPEL Tuesday April 1st from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  The funeral service will be conducted from Christ Church Anglican, Lion's Head Wednesday April 2nd at 2:00 p.m. with The Ven.
