Obituary of Betty Mae Preston Slocum

Slocum Preston Betty Mae Peacefully at the Southampton Care Centre, Southampton on Tuesday September 20, 2005. Betty (Youngman) Slocum of Wiarton in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late William Preston. Dear mother of Beverly Everitt and her husband Wes of Southampton; Linda Davidson and her husband Keith of Clavering and Laurie Buckland and her husband Doug of Wiarton. Cherished grandmother of Carol Everitt, Sheri (Bill) Murphy, Shawn (Jody) Everitt, Scott Davidson, Mandi Buckland, Mike Buckland and seven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the George Funeral Home, 430 Mary Street, Wiarton on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be conducted from the chapel on Friday September 23rd at 11:00 am with Rev. Jawn Kolohon officiating. Interment Balsam Grove Cemetery, Oliphant.
