Obituary of Glenn Donald Vickers

Vickers Donald Glenn Suddenly at Cape Chin on May 10th, 2005. Glenn Vickers of Lion's Head and Georgia in his 66th year. Beloved husband of Ruth of Gray, Georgia. Loving father of Jennifer and her husband Willy Weatherhead of Lion's Head, Patty Taylor of Kitchener and Glenna Vickers of Wiarton. Dear grandfather of Cassidy and his wife Stephanie Weatherhead, Dillon Weatherhead, Erin Weatherhead, Trichia Vickers, Bronson Taylor and Crystal Peters. Great grandfather of Natalie Weatherhead. Brother of Wilma McLay of Stokes Bay and Leighton Vickers of Wiarton. Predeceased by his sister Lenore Hofstrand and brothers Murray Vickers, Bill Vickers and Bob Vickers. Fondly remembered by his special stepchildren in Georgia. The family will receive friends at the Davidson Chapel on Thursday from 2-4 and 7 -9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the chapel on Friday, May 13th at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Charles Gingerich officiating. Interment Stokes Bay Cemetery. Donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Lion's Head Hospital or Bethel Missionary Church would be appreciated.
