Liverance Venus Maude Peacefully at Summit Place Nursing Home, Owen Sound on Friday March 18, 2005. Venus (Law) Liverance of Spry in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late James (Jim) Liverance. Loving mother of Melton (Eva) of Ridgetown; Roy of Pike Bay; Carl of Stokes Bay; Kate (Hugh) Stott of Spry; Burt (Barb) of Red Bay; Bob of Owen Sound; Rex (Grace) of Miller Lake; Hazel (Keith) Mole of Park Head; Naydean (Roger) Cruickshank of Lion's Head; and Edna (Ron) Ellis of Wiarton. Special grandmother of 48 grandchildren, 73 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Sister of George (Kay) Law of Barrie and Beatrice (Al) Steggles of Toronto. Predeceased by one daughter Irene Given, two sons John and Harold, one daughter-in-law Ann Liverance, one son-in-law Bert Given, five sisters Alice Bannister, Nellie Marshall, Betty Hastings, Naydean Stead, and Florence Craig, and by three brothers Jack, Clarence and Allan. The family will receive friends at the Davidson Chapel 71 Main Street, Lion's Head on Saturday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be conducted from the Bethel Missionary Church 18 Ferndale Road, Lion's Head on Sunday March 20th at 3:00 PM with Pastor David Hamill officiating. Spring interment, Eastnor Cemetery, Lion's Head. Donations to the Alzheimers Association or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
