Obituary of Ronald Smith

 Ronald Frederick Smithsuddenly at his residence Tuesday morning February 11, 2014.  Ron Smith of Wiarton in his 82nd year.  Cherished husband and best friend of Carol (nee Locke) for 61 years.  Loving father of Matthew (pre 1993), Rhonda and her husband Eamonn Ryan of Stoney Creek and Karen and her husband Mark Cockshutt of Waterdown and father-in-law of Diane Smith of Hamilton.  Special grandfather of Christen (Clayton) Mahar, Robert (Katie) Smith, Bridget Ryan, Chelsea Cockshutt, Deirdre Ryan and Rhonnie Cockshutt and great grandfather of Keira and Chloe Smith and Matthew Mahar.  Dear brother of Doug Smith and his wife Marilyn of Sarnia and brother-in-law of Gale Martelle of Alberta. Private family funeral arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton.  A tribute service to honour Ron's life will be held at the Wiarton and District Curling Club on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Expressions of remembrance to Wiarton Hospital or the Bruce Trail Association would be appreciated.  Condolences may be sent to the family through the link below.
