Today I say good bye to an amazing person, I remember the first I met you at Dave and Janet's and we talked as if we have been friends forever. I am sure that is how is it every time someone came across your path you share your love and compassion, your smile that everyone will miss. One of my fondest memories I will was our recent visit, we went the Green door for dinner before we went to see Ed, you ordered a club house sandwich and the look in your eyes on how big it was but you tackled it .
Going to miss you Shirley and Ed rest peacefully.

I did not know either Shirley or Ed very well, meeting them for the first time at the Hospice Volunteer potluck that I attended last May. Shirley had made her famous lemon meringue pies and they were delicious! I think she said that they had made them together. Beside the delicious pies, I remember they both had wonderful inviting smiles and lots of laughter seemed to surround them. I'm only sorry that my opportunity to know them was for such a brief time.

Nancy and the Lamouroux family,
I just want to express my deepest sympathy to you all. It is so sad that only one month prior did Ed pass away and you are all still dealing with that loss, and now the loss of Shirley. I just can't imagine the sorrow and sadness you are all going through.
I had the pleasure of meeting Shirley once at Ray and Nancy's home and enjoyed her company....a sweet lady....and I always enjoyed hearing stories and updates on them from Nancy.
My thoughts and prayers are with you Nancy and family.....at this very sad time.

Truly a gem of a person. her smile , her laugh, her kindness , her generosity she will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Together with her husband Ed , they teamed up to lead by example. Whether iti was baking for a bake sale, collecting items for the food bank, donating their time and energies helping out at the church. They taught us all the most important qualities of life, kindness and compassion for their fellow man.
My family sends it's deepest condolences to the Botting family, David, Susan, Nancy, Paul, their children, and their children .
Rest in peace Aunt Shirley, you deserve it. I hope you're enjoying a cup of tea with Uncle Ed
Love and Peace from Calgary
