Peacefully at her residence in Toronto surrounded by family February 2, 2016 at the age of 52. Loving mother and best friend of Emily Putnik. Cherished wife of the late John Putnik (1993). Caring sister of Diane McKenzie of Toronto and Janice Medeiros and her husband Ed, and their children, of Burlington. Devoted daughter of Bill McKenzie, the late Shirley (1989) and his wife Mary Lou of Wiarton. Dear daughter-in-law of Linda Smith of Toronto. Kim lived open heartedly, loved unconditionally and touched many people during her life. She will be remembered for her strength, her kindness and her laugh! The funeral service will be conducted from ST. JOHN'S UNITED CHURCH, Berford Street, Wiarton on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. with visitation 1 hour prior to service. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton. Expressions of remembrance to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
