Obituary of Robert "Bob" Ross Carder

Peacefully with family by his side at Gateway Haven Nursing Home Friday evening February 19, 2016. Robert 'Bob' Carder of Wiarton in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Laverne (nee Kerr) of Wiarton. Loving father of Lorrie Thompson and her fiance Dan Jensen of Owen Sound and Jann Carder-Glaubitz of Georgian Bluffs and father-in-law of Dale Thompson of Wiarton. Dear Pop of Dustin and Cody Thompson. Loved brother of Wayne of Wiarton, Barry of Wiarton and Doug and his wife Sara of Owen Sound and brother-in-law of Bob McGregor of Wiarton and Inez Porter of Wiarton. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Bob will be missed by his beloved cat Harley. Predeceased by parents Albert and Leone (Turner) Carder, sister Gladys McGregor and sister-in-law Karen Carder. Friends may call at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the Wiarton Propeller Club, 575 Edward Street, Wiarton on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. Spring interment Oxenden Cemetery.
