Dear Kathy,
So sorry to read of Henry's passing in the SU News. I recall the how much fun we had whenever Henry showed up at the Library--what a terrific guy. I also remember thinking that there was such a special "spark" between the two of you and I'm sure his loss is being keenly felt by you and Stephanie. I still have the beautiful kaleidoscope Henry made and I think of you two every time I use it. We keep it at our cabin (our favorite hangout these days) and our granddaughters (we have four!) love to look at it.
Hard to believe so many years have passed since you left Chambersburg and Lehman Library for points north. I retired in December 2013--it was time to leave the technology in the care of younger brains. I hope you are in good health.
Sending my heartfelt sympathy to you and your family and keeping you in my thoughts during this sad time.
Barb

As the Modern Languages Dept. secretary at Shippensburg University, I had the privilege of working with him until his retirement. He was such a happy-go-lucky, free spirited, full of energy, very giving man, he wouldn't get angry and could fix anything in the language lab. We all really missed him when he retired. I'm glad to have known him and will always have happy memories of him. May God's peace and love be with you all and I send you my heartfelt sympathy.

Dear Kathy an Stephanie, With each new day may you find peace. I have fond memories of Henry and you Kathy. The last time Vic and I saw him was quite a number of years ago. We visited with Lynn Schwartz and saw what a delightful and relaxing home you had built with your family. I also remember times together in Kitchener and Waterloo when Henry, Manfred, Mark and Vic were at university. Time passes quickly. Memories are good. I wish the best for you and your family. It is difficult now but peace will come . Fondly. BETTY FROESE.
