Words can't even explain how much you meant to me. In a way you were like the father I never had and have been there for me ever since I was born. I will miss you so much and always remember all the good times we had together while I was growing up. I'll always consider myself lucky to have had you in my life for 30 years, that's more than most people get to have their grand father around.
I hope you're in a good place in heaven, that you are finally without pain and have found peace.

I felt my heart breaking into pieces when I heard you passed away. My father is a man like no other, he gave me life, when I was little, he taught me to walk, taught me to smile, and to never give up, he fought for me, held me, shouted at me, kissed me, but most importantly, loved me unconditionally. I loved him even before I knew what love was, he was the first man I ever loved. There are not enough words to describe just how important my father was to me. A limb has fallen from our family tree. God saw you getting tired and put his arm around you and whispered "Come to me"
Dad you will always be in my heart, you're gone, but not forgotten.
