Obituary of James "Jim" Norman Dilworth

Suddenly at Grey Bruce Health Services Lion's Head Wednesday morning July 27, 2016. Jim Dilworth of Lion's Head and formerly of Wiarton and Miller Lake in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Helen (nee Chester). Cherished father of Julie Wardrop and her husband Mike of Hepworth, Lisa Polselli and her husband Mike of Annan, Mike Dilworth and his wife Rayanne of Hanover and Jason Dilworth and his wife Judith of Wiarton. Dear grandfather of Melissa (Jamie), Adam (Charlene), Michael, Christopher, Mackenzie, Jacob, Ella and Thomas. Missed by sisters Marion Dawe and her husband Bill of Woodstock and Judy Wagner and her husband Norbert of Kitchener. While working in Tobermory, Jim participated in the rescue of a ship in distress for which he was awarded the Canadian Medal of Bravery. The funeral service will be conducted from the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on Wednesday, August 3rd at 2:00 p.m. with visitation 2 hours prior to the service. Pastor Gerald DeWit officiating.
