Lots of fond memories over the many years with Aunt Ellen, such a positive spirit and so sharp until her last days. My wife and children cherish the couple of visits this past year with a tour of Oxford Gardens that showed how comfortable and happy she was there. Sadly missed and always remembered. Debra and Julie,
I am saddened to hear of the death of your wonderful Mother Ellen. Ellen was a beautiful spirit and a gracious loving and compassionate woman. She was always interested in me and my family. My spirit would be lightened after each visit with her. I will long remember my last visit with her by phone early in this year. She told me that she had decided to call all her friends rather than sending a Christmas card. You and your extended family will miss her deeply. I was privileged to know Ellen and your Dad Bob.

I was so sad to hear of your Mom's passing. She was a special part of my life growing up. I loved to sit with her on her front porch and cherished the time we spent camping at Lands End. Bob and "Mrs Stevens" were like second grandparents to me and they will always have a special place in my heart.

For Deb, Julie and extended family members. Very sorry to hear of Ellen's passing. My late parents always said that Ellen and Bob Stevens were the best neighbours ever. The maple tree Ellen planted in your back yard is still there and every fall the colours are spectacular.

I was so shocked to hear from Julie that your mom had passed away. I feel so fortunate that I was in to visit her in October. We had a good visit and she showed me pictures of the great- grandkids that she was so proud of.
