Obituary of Elmeta Mary Duncan

With family by her side at Golden Dawn Nursing Home Saturday evening November 19, 2016. Elmeta Duncan (nee Carter) of Lion's Head in her 103rd year. Beloved wife of the late Norman Henry Duncan (2010) for 70 years. Cherished mother of Mary Ellen Duncan of London and Sandra Duncan of Lion's Head. Loved grandmother of Geoffrey, Jonathan, Timothy, Patricia and Lesa and great grandmother of 11. Missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughter Patsy, son Earl, parents Jenny (Tackaberry) and Chetwynd Carter, brothers Purcell and Elmer and sisters Isabel Greenop and Thelma Ellis-Booth. The funeral service will be conducted from the Lion's Head United Church on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. with visitation 1 hour prior to service. Rev. Heather Davies officiating. Interment Eastnor Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, LION'S HEAD CHAPEL, Lion's Head. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the wonderful staff at Golden Dawn Nursing Home, Dr. Ally Appleton and niece Anita who all gave so much comfort during her final years.
