Lisa lived on Warner Bay Road and then she and her husband moved across the street to Baise Ave., a house with a pond. One time Lisa and other neighbours went on a jaunt to The Copper Kettle in Stokes Bay. It was a memorable day and I became acquainted with Lisa. Another time, I heard Lisa went to Cornwall, England with the Spirit Singers. Then the Cornwall singers, wearing a yellow plaid, came to the Bruce Peninsula to perform joyously with the Spirit Singers. I also recall a formal occasion, for Tobermory. A tenor in a tuxedo, from the city, came to the Church of St Edmunds. Lisa, as the Warden, welcomed all of us kindly to this recital. How formal? Other ladies wore floor length gowns. Now two chilren skate on Lisa's pond in the winter. Lisa with her gentle ways left the world a better place.
