Peacefully at Gateway Haven Nursing Home early Friday morning March 10, 2017. Ray Porter of Wiarton in his 95th year. Beloved husband of the late Shirley Porter (nee Spicer). Cherished father of Whitney Porter (Inez) and Marjorie McNeil, both of Wiarton. Loved grandfather of Barb McNeil and her husband Ken of Wiarton, Chris McNeil and his wife Vicki of West Point, Nancy McGee and her husband Jamie of Tottenham, Scott McNeil of Wisconsin, USA, and Debbie McGarvey of Toronto, great grandfather of Ashley, Allexis, Sage, Braden, Tristan, Jessica and Nikki and great great grandfather of Aurora-Ray, Chrystal, Emma, Michael, Brodey, Hayden and Ryker. Dear brother of Jim (Helen), Joe, Norman (Isabel), Joyce Bell (Stew), Irene Peer (Murray), June Beckett (Stan) and Pat Wilkinson (Glen) all of Owen Sound and Leone Wrath (Ross) of Simcoe and brother-in-law of Brenda Porter of Oxenden. Missed by many, many nieces and nephews. Forever remembered by Sammy Porter. Predeceased by his parents Rita (Ward) and Russell Porter and brothers Jack and Carly.
