Dearest Jimmy, Larry, Linda,Tom, Jerry, Brad, Mary Lou, Paul and families:
With a sadden heart I send my deepest sympathies for the lost of your Wife and Mom, Eileen.
I have beautiful fond memories as a child of the lovely friendship she and my Mom, Joan Dickinson had, and the laughter they shared. Years have passed and over these years we have kept in touch through unexpected visits on Prince Edward Island, when Jimmy and Eileen flew into the Summerside Airport (PEI) for a COPA Convention resulting in meeting my husband (also a pilot), Mike and then sharing in Island hospitality. The universe continued to keep us connected through Larry and Darlene visiting the Island on political events when we would have catch up time and then pass along to our folks. A true gift to both our families. At this time please know I am thinking of you all, and wish you healing with beautiful memories. Love Darlene

I Dorothy have such fond memories of Eileen. I still remember the day Eileen came with me on the bus and showing me her run. I was going to be her spare and then I took over her run when she fully retired. I remember her as a very kind lady. She always inspired me to be firm with the kids on the bus, but to keep on smiling when saying good morning and goodnight.
She always had a smile and would say hi and have time for a quick chat when we ran into each other.

Please accept my deepest sympathies for the loss of your mom and grandmother. I had the privilege of meeting Eileen for a few hours February 2016 and had the honour of walking along with her for a very short time in her end of life journey. During a very intimate conversation with Eileen, she told me about her most recent diagnosis and prognosis. She was full of will and the energy to battle this prognosis as she wanted to experience with her loving family one more spring, maybe one more summer and one more fall would be amazing. She spoke with tender love and care about all of her family and what a blessing they all were to her, all throughout her life. She shared with me many stories of fun, laughter and celebration with her family. She said "that is all we need - our family and we have a good time!" Now approximately 16 months later, Eileen has given up the fight. She fought a courageous battle and deserves eternal rest. I hope you can all find peace within your hearts as you gave your mom a life of love, care and respect that is rare today - she loved it so. She was so proud of all of you and will continue to love you and be close to you forever. That was the strong faith she had which she so confidently shared with me. God Bless each and everyone of you.
