Obituary of Frederick Carl Schmidt

Peacefully at Freeport Hospital, Kitchener Friday morning July 14th, 2017.  Fred Schmidt of Kitchener in his 77th year.  Cherished brother of Dave Schmidt and his wife Pauline of Kitchener.  Beloved uncle of Catherine Anderson and her husband Brent and Melissa Robbins and her husband Matt and great uncle of Lily and Emily Anderson and Blake Robbins, all of Wiarton.  Loved friend and companion of Hope Gingrich of Waterloo.  Predeceased by his parents Grace (Wagner) and Frederick Schmidt.  Private family funeral arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton.  Interment Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.  Expressions of remembrance to the Grand River Hospital Foundation Cancer Unit or the Parkinson Society would be appreciated.  The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Victoria Place Retirement Home for their care and compassion.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.georgefuneralhome.com
