We were talking of Alf this afternoon as we passed the old homestead he had lived in on Cherry Hill Road. He was a wonderful man, good with young children and he pushed them to do their best. Thanks for the four wheeler lesson from Jenna McGuire!

Keith, Karen, Candace, and Holly, and your families.
I remember Alf, always with his smile, even though he endured what he endured.
I remember stopping at their store on the way up to Grandma Effie's. My brother Ken won a prize in a draw. It was a tin garage. It was like a Christmas present. Not many draws were done at that time, in the late 50's, so he was extra lucky to win it.
Alf and Freda were a match set. They were always cheerful wherever we saw them.
My dad always had fun when he was with Alf. Their shared time at the Legion was great for them both.
Alf will be remembered by so many.
Those who knew him were very fortunate.
