Sending sincere condolences to the family. It wasn't until I rec'd my latest copy of the Wiarton Echo this week that I learned of Mac's passing. He was a long time friend of my late father C.M. (Bus) Corbet and fellow Oliphantonian to boot. I will always be appreciative of his kindness when driving my son and I up to wiarton in the early 1970s to be with family at Christmas.

To the McKenzie Family:
My sincere condolences on the death of Mac. He did put Wiarton on the map with the Wiarton Willie Festival! I had the pleasure of knowing Mac, when I worked with the City of Owen Sound. He was a true gentleman with a great sense of humour.
Tom always spoke highly of Mac and his work in the community. May the wonderful memories you have of a father and grandfather, bring you comfort in the days ahead.

This is very sad news for the family and the fine community of Wiarton. My sincerest condolences to the family. I have very fond, and amusing memories of the few times I had spent in Wiarton with my cousins Bruce, Gord and Tim. The Regatta, and other fun rituals of Mac's will never be the same.
