Obituary of Beverly Margaret Larson

Peacefully surrounded by family after an extended illness at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener Tuesday evening August 22, 2017. Bev Larson of Lion's Head in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late Douglas Larson  for 49 years. Cherished mother of Lori Parcells and her husband Reg of Beamsville, and Mike and his wife Jodie of Hamilton. Loving grandmother to Eric (Angela), Jake, Max, Sam, Jonah and Jacob and 'GG' to Harvey and Berkeley. Bev and Doug loved spending time with friends in Florida and Lion's Head. Beverly will be remembered for her love of dancing, her love of entertaining, and her love of flowers, her generous heart, her ever present sense of humour (Lois, tiaras and white gloves come to mind!), her love of Roxi, and in the end, her unwavering determination and courage. Special thanks to nurses and doctors at Florida Hospital, Sebring, Lion's Head Hospital, Wiarton Hospital/ Rehab Facility, Owen Sound Hospital and Grand River Hospital in Kitchener. Friends may call at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, LION'S HEAD CHAPEL,, Lion's Head  on Sunday  from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00  to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the Lion's Head United Church, Main Street, Lion's Head on Monday at 12:00 p.m. Rev Heather Davies officiating.
