Obituary of June Marie Glass

GLASS, June Marie (nee Holt) of Oliphant passed away peacefully in her 88th year at Grey Bruce Health Services in Wiarton early Saturday morning October 21, 2017.  Beloved wife of David and cherished mother of David (pre) and his wife Caliente of Nelson, B.C., Scott of Dundas and Kelly and her partner David of Owen Sound.  Loved grandmother of Danielle (Alicia), Nicole, Alexandra (Thomas), Megan (pre) and Kathryn and great grandmother of Quinn. June graduated from McMaster University in 1953 where she studied art and history. June and David later settled in Oliphant at their cottage home. She always carried herself with grace and dignity and was especially known for her kindness. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends; an inspiration to all who knew her.   Private family funeral arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton.  Interment in Carlisle United Church Cemetery.  Expressions of remembrance to the Wiarton Hospital or Wes for Youth would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.georgefuneralhome.com
