Obituary of Catalino Gavino

GAVINO, Catalino peacefully with family by his side at Golden Dawn Nursing Home, Lion's Head Friday January 12, 2018.  Catalino Gavino of Lion's Head and formerly of Mississauga and Manila, the Philippines in his 97th year.  Beloved husband of Leonor Cruz for 74 years.  Cherished father of Ruth Betowski and her husband Don of Fulton, California, Lorna Sican and her husband Vic of the Philippines, Vicky Gavino and her husband Frank Tideswell of Lion's Head and Victor Gavino and his wife Grace of Montreal.  Loved grandfather of David (Elizabeth), Eloysa, Olivia, Renee, Chivas (April), Linda (Jay), Christina (Andy) and Clarissa (Ed) and great grandfather of Jacob, Daniel, Esther, Kit and Finn.  The funeral service will be conducted at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, LION'S HEAD CHAPEL, Lion's Head on Monday at 11 a.m. with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.  Expressions of remembrance to Golden Dawn Nursing Home or the Bruce Peninsula Hospice would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.georgefuneralhome.com
