Dear Rick & Marlene & Family: We have fond memories of Barb and Ron, from the old days of Tobermory when we felt as though the Peninsula and Georgian Bay were ours to share with those who chose this special part of the world, the special people like Barb and Ron and all the little Peacocks, who made our time there so memorable. Your Mom and Dad were such warm, loving people, with those enduring, simple, small town values, who always made their customers and friends feel welcome. We were very saddened to get a message from Marie to tell us about your Mom's passing. I was away for 3 weeks and just arrived home this morning but wanted to let you know that we are thinking of you and your family. So sorry we didn't make the funeral. Dear Rick and Marlene, and Family and
Jane and Bob and Family
So very sorry to hear of Barb's passing over. I had heard she hadn't been well for a while.
Ron, Barb, and Wayne and I had lots of good times together when we were young, and we always
had lots to talk and laugh about.
I know she had lots of people on the other side to greet her, and I can hear Ron, Wayne, and Paul
giving her a hard time. Good job Reg., Muriel and Bill are there to lip them back, because Barb
would just laugh at them. I know you will miss her very much. When your last parent leaves
somehow you feel like an orphan. And Jane, I know it will be very hard on you too. But, she
will be so glad to see and be with Ron.
I won't be able to get up to the funeral, but will be thinking and praying for all of you. I don't drive
a lot in the winter and I don't think I would trust myself to drive that far in winter weather.
