Sherri-Lynn, Ernie, Christopher, Derek, Kylie and Brandon.
We were so saddened to hear on Thursday evening of Uncle Marvin's passing. He will be remembered for the kind, gentle and loving man that he was. He was not only our mother's brother but he was one of her best friends.
One memory sticks with me is when Mom and I had taken Grandma Weir for a car ride and dropped by to see Uncle Marvin on our way back to the Nursing Home. He came out to the car to chat and before we left he asked us to wait for just a minute so he could run back into the house to get 2 bags of potato chips he had picked up for Grandma while shopping because he knew how much she liked them. Grandma was absolutely delighted that he had done that for her and went back to Nursing Home very happy that day.
We are truly sorry that was he taken from your family and will always have good memories and warm thoughts for the wonderful man he was while he lived.
