I was very sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Miller. He was my bus driver during my years at high school. He had a quick smile and a keen wit. Mom, Dad, Michael and I have always thought so highly of him.

Dear Floss & Family:
I was very sorry to hear of Glen's passing. Every time I drive out pass the Mile Inn I remember all the good times I had working for you both. I worked at the old Mile Inn and then the new one. It was my first real job other then babysitting. How many employers come and pick you up and then after your shift drive you home to make sure you get home safe, well Glen did. We worked hard or we thought we did. We did everything in the 60's. We were taught to pick worms for the fishermen, pumped gas, dipped ice cream cones, made breakfast for customer along with hamburgs and some suppers depending on what shift you were working. We cleaned window, washrooms, dusted the shelves, babysat when needed, if Floss had to go to town. Whatever needed to be done we did. I thank you both for all that.
