Obituary of Madelyn Anne Hopkins

HOPKINS, Madelyn Anne peacefully at Golden Dawn Nursing Home, Lion's Head early Tuesday morning July 17, 2018.  Madelyn Hopkins (nee Ransbury) of Tobermory in her 84th year.  Beloved wife of Barney and cherished mother of Michael and his wife Bobbi of Grand Island, New York and the late Tracy Davis and her husband the late Russ Davis.  Much loved grandmother of Benjamin (Kaitlin), Matthew (Krystan), Robert and Stephanie and great grandmother of Kyle and Sloane.  Dear sister of Lorraine Costello of Owen Sound, Donna Taylor of Fonthill and Patricia Williams (Ron) of Tobermory and sister-in-law of Julie Ransbury of Wiarton and Jacqueline Hopkins of Owen Sound.  Missed by many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her brother Jack Ransbury.  Family and friends may call at the TOBERMORY UNITED CHURCH, Tobermory on Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  The funeral service will be conducted from the church on Friday afternoon at 1:00 p.m.  Rev.
