To John's family, please accept my condolences on John's passing. He came to our SMART exercise class and never failed to greet me with a smile and a good (and sometimes not so good) joke! I know John had some health issues but he always persevered. He was liked by all of the SMARTIES and will be so missed.

I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. It was so sudden. As Mike Downs said, it was only two weeks ago that John and Rosie were at our July CVMG meeting. John supplied all the photos of our meetings so I could add them to the monthly CVMG Newsletter report for Grey-Bruce Section. He will definitely be missed and I hope Rosie will stay close to the club.

rosemarie, so sorry to hear about John. He certainly looked forward to the CVMG meetings and appeared fit as a fiddle 2 weeks ago when he spoke to the group about his latest controversial finding about no need to change your oil in the car for 100,000 km. I personally will miss his humourous emails, especially the political ones that I often passed along.
He will certainly be missed by all the club, and I am very sorry for you because you & John were always together. I hope you will continue to stay on board. Its times like this we all want to help.
