He was such a gentleman always upbeat, ready to help anyone who needed his assistance, his humour...(although dry) made anyone around him feel at ease......spending time in laughter and back and fourth kabitzing to everyone's delight........Ted you will be sadly missed........may you rest in peace sweet man.......now you can rest.

I absolutely adore this amazing man. He had one the biggest caring hearts you could ever imagine. His sense of humour and extremely dry wit often made you stop in your tracks, reflect on what he just said then erupt in giggles of laughter. He hated his photo getting taken and often he would try and hide, but when he smiled the whole room would light up as did the camera. He could wind you up with some tall stories that I would inevitably fall for, much to his amusement. He was an amazing Husband, Dad, Brother in Law, Uncle and Friend to but also a trooper, a hero to have been what he’s been through and to do it with such grace and dignity is admirable. Many of us would not be as strong or brave as he was.
Many hearts are broken in our family right now, but in time we will heal as we all rejoice in the memories of the life and love we shared with this wonderful man....My Uncle Ted. love you and will miss you more than you’ll ever know xxxx

Just learnt of Ted’s passing and we were good friends in the mid 70’s when I worked for Crossley Carpets in England. We traveled to Germany together for a carpet show and he stayed with me in the UK and when I emigrated to California in ‘79 I stayed with the Fingers en route to San Francidco.
A great friend with a wonderful sense of humour and sadly lost track of him and his whereabouts but our years of friendship will be everlasting and may he Rest In Peace !

Our most sincere condolences to the Finger Family.. we will always have fond memories of Ted from all the weekend gatherings in goderich at the trailer park. He loved to walk Sahsa every day.. that dog was his shadow.. we loved sitting and listening to Ted and Liz bicker about life and day to day stuff.. Ted was always a gentleman, the first to get up and offer a chair to have a seat and chat. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinners together and your company.
