Obituary of Muriel Josephine Bell Smith
SMITH, Muriel Josephine Bell peacefully at Gateway Haven Nursing Home, Wiarton late Thursday evening May 23, 2019. Muriel Smith (nee Pennie) of Wiarton in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Alfred Smith. Cherished mother of Dennis and his wife Sherrill of Thessalon and the late Penny Johnson. Loved by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Elizabeth (Hilson) and John Pennie, brothers Ren, Doric, Fred, Warren, Clarence, Morris, Lorne and Herman and sisters Nora, Ada, Rae and Beatrice. The funeral service will be conducted from the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on Tuesday, May 28th at 12:00 noon with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Interment Zion Cemetery, Hepworth.
