Obituary of Anna Elizabeth Elliott

ELLIOTT, Anna Elizabeth peacefully at Chapman House, Owen Sound June 6, 2019. Annie Elliott (nee Gantschnig) of Oliphant in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Capt. William 'Smokey' Elliott and the late Harry Cahill.  Cherished aunt of Gerhard, Herta and Kilian Gantschnig, all of Austria and mother of Larry Elliott (Gail) of Port Colborne, Bill Elliott (Dianne) of Sarnia, Wayne Elliott (Patti) of Bayfield, Bryan Elliott (Lori) of Port Colborne and Bruce Elliott (JP) of Goderich.  Grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 5.  Predeceased by parents Anna (nee Pirker) and Kilian Gantschnig  and brother Kilian Gantschnig.  Friends may call at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on Sunday June 9th from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.  The Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 208 will conduct a service on Sunday at 2:45 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, Wiarton on Monday June 10th at 11:00 a.m.  Father John Wheeler officiating.  Interment Balsam Grove Cemetery, Oliphant.  Expressions of remembrance to the Wiarton Hosptial, the Bruce Peninsula Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
