Obituary of Bill France

FRANCE, William Nathan peacefully with family by his side at Gateway Haven Nursing Home, Wiarton Monday December 16, 2019. Bill France of Wiarton in his 82nd year. Loved father of Tom France of Ottawa and Tarra France of Owen Sound. Loving grandfather of Madeleine, Benjamin, Shane, Alan, and Keiran. Dear brother of Gary and his wife Nancy of Bramalea, Don and his wife Carol of Oliphant and Linda France of Wiarton. Missed by many nieces and one nephew. Predeceased by parents Sarah 'Jane' (nee Danard) and Nathan France, brother Ben, and sister Lois France.  Bill was a volunteer firefighter in Wiarton for over 30 years and the oldest serving member of the Wiarton Lion's Club. The funeral service to celebrate Bill's life will be conducted from the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on Saturday, December 21st at 1:00 p.m. with visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.  Spring interment Balsam Grove Cemetery, Oliphant.  In lieu of flowers expressions of remembrance to Alzheimers Society would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.georgefuneralhome.com
