Obituary of Eric "Rick" Young

YOUNG, Eric 'Rick' peacefully at Gateway Haven Nursing Home, Wiarton Tuesday morning February 4, 2020.  Rick Young of Wiarton in his 89th year.  Beloved husband of the late Laura Young (nee Merchant).  Cherished father of Brad of Wiarton.  Dear grandfather of Brien (Stacey) and Greg (Kirsten) and great grandfather of Caiden, Jaxon, Charlotte and Mason.  Missed by his sisters Bernice (Bev) Kerr of Guelph and Joan Young of Wiarton as well as many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by sisters Peg Boyd (Jim) and Pat Peglo (Len).  A very heartfelt thank you to his sister Joan and niece Susan for their care and companionship over the years.  A graveside interment service will be held at Bayview Cemetery, Wiarton in the spring.  Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton.  Expressions of remembrance to the Grey Bruce Animal Shelter would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.georgefuneralhome.com
