To the Rouse family. So sorry to hear about Jerry. I had the privilege to work on many of his jobs. He was a hard working, honourable guy. Your mom and dad were a pleasure to deal with. Proud of their kids and grand kids. I have good memories incl a special ice fishing trip to Westree with Jerry & my late brother in 1997

I am so very sorry to learn of the passing of your parents. In particular, Elaine and I often carpooled to night school or an out of town municipal meeting of one sort or another. Michael - you were truly one of my favourite people in school, and I tried to keep up with your life through your Mom. We are so very sad to hear this news. We first met Jerry in 1976, when he came to help us extend and improve our cottage. Over the years he has come every year to do jobs big and small. He built our garage, our sunroom, and our studio/screened porch. We have always seen him as a really talented craftsman, who never disappointed with the quality of his work. We loved the way we used to tell him what we wanted, and then he would reply by telling us what we would get! He was always correct in his assessment of our sometimes strange plans. Our children knew him as the one who brought them cookies, and they simply thought of Jerry as part of cottage life. He was such a wonderful man, and we shall miss him dearly.
