Obituary of Betty Connor

CONNOR, Elizabeth 'Betty' peacefully at Golden Dawn Nursing Home, Lion's Head late Wednesday evening April 1, 2020.  Betty Connor (nee Brown) of Lion's Head and Wiarton in her 76th year.  Beloved wife of the late Robert 'Bob' Connor (Oct. 2019).  Cherished mother of Shari and her partner Doug Weir of Wiarton.  Dear sister-in-law of John Connor of Kingston and Suzann Ottewell of Wiarton.  Predeceased by parents Winnifred (nee Whetham) and Fredrick Brown, brother Gord, sisters Norma and Dorothy and brother-in-law Leonard Ottewell.  The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to everyone at Golden Dawn Nursing Home for their care and compassion.  A private family graveside interment service will be held at Bayview Cemetery, Wiarton.  Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton.  Expressions of remembrance to the Grey Bruce Animal Shelter or Golden Dawn Nursing Home would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.georgefuneralhome.com
