I worked with Phyllis in the mid 1980s at Triangle. I was a teenager just out of high school, taking a break before university. It was essentially my first job. Phyllis was warm, welcoming, and supportive and always spoke so highly and lovingly of her family. Our office had its ups and downs and Phyllis was always there to solve the problem, smooth ruffled feathers, or lend a sympathetic ear. The world could turn upside down and Phyllis would go and put on the kettle for tea, and somehow all would be well. She taught me a lot in a short time. So much time has gone by, I am a married 52 year old with a teenager of my own, but I will always remember her warmth, wisdom and generosity. Please accept my sincerest condolences, Debra Cameron

We were so sorry to hear about Phyl. Had just talked to her the week before and she was so happy to be back in her home on the Dorcas Bay Rd. We were all looking forward to the porch drop off of her famous hot cross buns. She always
spoke highly of her wonderful family. She will be missed by her friends near and far.
Hugs, Jan MacDonald & Sharon Naumann.

I am so sorry to hear of Phyllis's passing. She was such a part of the circle of friends around the table at the church over coffee, or needle arts, solving the world's problems as we all talked over tea and goodies . I will miss her presence very much. Marilyn Bettridge

Our deepest and sincerest condolences to Laurie, Cheryl, Jamie and families in the passing of your dear Mum. We will miss her, she was a genuine lovely person with a kind smile and a generous heart. Her talents in sewing, knitting, crocheting etc. will be loved and cherished by her family and friends for many years to come...She crocheted us a beautiful Afghan when we moved into our home, so appreciated and loved! We are saddened to hear of the passing of our cottage neighbour Phyllis. She always brightened our day when we would be out for a walk on the road and she would stop her bike ride for awhile to have a talk. Our most sincere condolences to her family.
