It’s with great sadness that we learned of Helens passing, she was a going concern, independent and always strong. Helen and Harvey adopted us just after we came to Canada in 1977, We have so many great memories of our times together. Our hearts are broken. RIP Helen you are with Harvey just like you wanted to be. Miss you both.

I write on behalf of my dad, Walter Patyk. He was truly saddened to hear of Helen’s passing and asked me to express his deepest sympathy to the family. Dear family members. How very sorry we were to hear of your mother/grandmother's death and want to assure you of our thoughts and prayers at this time. We share the pain of your loss and offer our deepest condolences for we know that despite her very long and productive life it is still painful to lose someone you love and appreciate so much. Helen was a very special woman and along with her beloved Harvey were a devoted and happy couple who made joyful all with whom they came in contact. They were faithful members of the Zion-Amabel (now Sauble Beach United Church) and it was our privilege to minister to them for many years. May God bless you all in this time of loss and may you find comfort in knowing that your loved one is in God's hands and that one day you shall meet again.

Family of the late Helen Brush - what a nice lady - will always remember her smile and as said in her obituary, she dearly loved Harvey and they were a great couple, remember her saying she had to be very careful to repair/darn his socks for when dressed up and playing the bagpipes as they were his original ones- she will be sadly missed - so sorry to hear of her passing, friend of Sauble Beach United Church - Jo-Ann and Lloyd Sheridan
