Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Scott

SCOTT, Mary peacefully at Grey Bruce Health Services, Wiarton early Tuesday morning June 9, 2020.  Mary Scott (nee Burr) of Wiarton in her 91st year.  Beloved wife of the late Lawrence 'Lorne' Scott (pre 2003).  Cherished mother of Jane Sleep and her husband Robert of Madoc.  Much loved grandmother of Jennifer (Keith), Dianna (Adam) and Justin (Candace) and great grandmother of many.  Dear sister of Ruth Ann (Dennis) Handy and sister-in-law of Fran Burr and Bunny Burr, all of Sarnia.  Missed by many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by parents Hattie (nee Kemsley) and Gordon Burr, brothers Ken, Howard, John (Hazel), Jim, Frank (Barbara), and Gerry, sister Helen, brothers-in-law John, Joe and Bob Scott and sister-in-law Nancy Flynn.  Arrangements for a private family graveside service at Lakeview Cemetery, Sarnia entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton.  Expressions of remembrance to the Wiarton Hospital (c/o Bruce Peninsula Health Services Foundation) would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.georgefuneralhome.com
