Obituary of Carolyn McKenzie

MCKENZIE, Carolyn peacefully at Gateway Haven Nursing Home, Wiarton Sunday July 26, 2020. Carolyn McKenzie (nee Tough) of Wiarton in her 78th year. Beloved wife of the late William 'Mac' McKenzie (2017). Daughter of the late William James and Rosa May Tough.  Cherished stepmother of Grey and his wife Pam of Florida and Regan McKenzie and her husband Dan Santin of Oliphant. Special grandmother of McKenzie, Grayham, Lisa, Sarah (Chris) and Sieta (Ryan) and great grandmother of Mikayla, Josh, Brandon, Brooke, Warren and Carson. Dear sister of James Brian Tough and his wife Marylin Toward of Vancouver, British Columbia and in-law of Anne McKenzie of Oliphant, Red Cawker of Kirkfield, and Dick Selman of Kitchener-Waterloo. Forever remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her daughter-in-law Elizabeth McKenzie.

Carolyn's family wish  to thank Gateway Haven staff , particularly those on 3 West involved in her care, for their unfailing support, particularly during these trying times.

A graveside service for Carolyn, along with the interment of Carolyn and her husband Mac, will be held at Balsam Grove Cemetery, Oliphant on Wednesday August 5, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.  In accordance with the Covid-19 regulations, all those attending are required to wear a face mask and practise social distancing.  Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton.  Expressions of remembrance to the Canadian Cancer Society or Friends of Gateway would be appreciated.
