Tom, the AQHA Champion, was my younger brother. My good memories of him are his love of animals, especially horses, and we had that in common. A particular memory I have is when Tom saved a runt piglet and took him home to live with us in the house. He also wouldn’t let our parents put it in the barn. Love you animal lover! Your sister Martha.

These are wonderful photos ! They bring back warm memories. Now that I see Tom's photo I can remember him a little. But I did not have the chance to spend much time with him.. All I remember was sitting in the back seat with Tom in some car going somewhere !
The photo of John is so cute. The best memory I have of John is when the two of us took the horses out for a gallop in the back 40. I fell off my horse, as the horses took a joyful run towards the barn. And John in his infinite wisdom Made me "get back on the horse !

Frances, these are wonderful, happy photos you have posted of Tom and you all. They show the closeness and caring you had for each other. Tom looks so handsome in his suit with prize and horse. I'm sure Tom, and John and Harry are having a joyful reunion.

When Tom was 8, and I was 7, I remember the two of us having a fun pillow fight, jumping up and down on his bed in the basement at the farm. We each swung our pillows at each other to knock the other one off the bed. Tom swung his pillow at me and just as it made impact the pillow burst open. We were both stunned into stillness at the wonder of thousands of feathers floating all around us! We looked at each other with wide eyed wonder.... and instant fear!!! We were not suppose to be jumping on the bed!!!
It was one of the many times throughout our childhood that Tom and I bonded as siblings.
