Thinking of Larry and Brenda with the death of their dad. The Stevens were cherished neighbours on Grosvenor Street in Woodstock when I was growing up. We spent a lot of time in each other's yards and homes and I fondly remember the rink Norm would make in the winter. Lots of fun times!
I kept in touch with Norm and Margie at Christmas after moving to Manitoba to raise my family. I last saw them at my dad's 94th birthday in 2014 and they were still the same wonderful people.

Our condolences to Larry and Brenda and their families. He always reminded me so much of mom, with his gentle ways. He will be greatly missed. I am sure he is happy to be reunited with his true love, dear Margie They were always so happy to receive visitors, even our furry friends were invited in for a visit.... We will certainly have to have that family reunion when this darn pandemic is under control. Lots of love from the Packer family

Larry and family,
I just want you to know I am thinking about you during this difficult time.
Your Dad and Grandfather was a great and wonderful man.
I grew up in Tobermory and now live in Owen Sound. I re-Met Norm a few years ago at the park!! Which was one of Norm’s favourite places to eat.
Just a funny story, I moved away from Tobermory when I was about 18 and then relocated back to the area several years later.
When I served Norm the first time, he said I looked very familiar. While we got chatting about Tobermory and who my parents were, Her remembered me when I was 3 years old working with my Dad(Doug) on the excavator or dozer. How insane to remember a face from over 40 years ago!??!!
I had lots of chats and laughs when Larry and Norm came for lunch at the park, and they always requested me. It was always a good visit.
Talk peace in knowing that Norm is still with you and guiding you thru life’s journeys!!
Talk Soon, Rachel

Norm will be missed. I remember sitting with him at the Men’s Breakfast when I first came here and knew few in town. Norm always made me feel welcome. More recent, Pam and I will miss playing euchre with him. He was a regular at bingo and frequent winner too. A participant in many worthy causes in Tobermory over the years, however his biggest would have been his service in the armed forces during WWII. Thank you Norm.

Heartfelt condolences to Brenda, Larry and your families in Canada from the Banning family
of Orlando, FL - Everett & Mari, Chris & Michelle, Simon & Jennifer, Tristan, Taylor and
Teagan. We so much enjoyed Norm's cheery company at those hearty feasts with good wine
and ale, and the 'round-the-bonfire chats, when we made our annual trips to Etobicoke and up north.
Norm, you have left us with many good memories. Rest in peace.
