My heart aches knowing Shirley is no longer with "us", yet, my heart also smiles knowing she, and my Grandma, Mary O. Smith, will have so much to catch up on, over tea, over cards, over a Rye&water ; ) Shirley had such an embracing smile, and warm hugs, i will cherish my memories of many years from a young girl, to an adult, and the chuckles and many conversations we had. Scotty, Joel, Sally and Jeff, my sincere condolences for you all. Please know how much your mom meant to so many. Sending hugs to all of you.

Shirley and Jim were great friends and neighbours to my in-laws Mary and Gordon Smith, who lived opposite them on Rometown in Orchard Heights, Mississauga. Mary shared many happy memories with me relating to Shirley and Family (especially
Halloween escapades !)
In later years I 'bonded' with Shirley myself, having visits and lunches together. She was a Lady who I respected and adored.
My heart goes out to Sally, Jeff, Joel and Scott and Families, my sincere condolences. May she now Rest in Peace.
The photo in the boat is a perfect way to remember her.
Sincerely Jan Smith

I can just hear Aunt Shirley's warm chuckle as I make a second attempt to send off a tribute to this lovely lady. She was beautiful, glamorous, gracious, and charming, with an astute and gently dry, but kind, sense of humour. We all loved to be in her company at family gatherings in Peterborough, and I will never forget her thoughtfulness when she arrived at one with an extra pair of shoes for her forgetful niece. Rest in peace, Aunt Shirl.
We send our love, and heartfelt condolences to Sally, Jeff, Joel, and Scott, and their families.

I remember Shirley Bond as our wonderful neighbour on Rometown Drive. She was always very loving and kind to me, almost like another member of her family.
Rest in peace Shirley.

I think our lovely Aunt Shirley was more important to her Mackie nieces than she knew.
What a knock-out beauty she was, with style to burn - and oh, that voice! Yet throughout the heartaches and joys in her life, it was Aunt Shirley's special blend of warmth, wisdom and poise that really made her the class act we so admired.
Sally, Joel, Jeff, Scott and families, please accept my heartfelt condolences at this painful time.
