Obituary of Mervin Kaizer

KAIZER, Mervin peacefully with family by his side at Golden Dawn Nursing Home, Lion's Head Monday afternoon August 2, 2021.  Mervin Kaizer of Lion's Head in his 98th year.  Beloved husband of Eveleen (nee Stewart) for almost 66 years.  Cherished father of Bonnie Kaizer of Miller Lake, Reg of Lion's Head and Nancy Schwellinger and her husband George of Woodford.  Much loved grandfather of Cody, Micky (Staci), Shane, Jordan, Chris (Shawn), David (Sheena), Katrina (Troy) and Karie (Paul) and great grandfather of Ava, Elliotte, Kilian and Isabella.  Sadly missed by many many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by parents Agusta and Reginald Kaizer, brothers Walter (Clara) and Cyril and sisters Madeline Walker (Harry) and Viola Spencer (Pat).

A funeral service will be conducted on the north lawn at the Golden Dawn Nursing Home, Lion's Head on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 2:15 p.m.  The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 290 will conduct a Legion service beginning at 2:00 p.m.  Interment Eastnor Cemetery, Lion's Head.  Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, LION'S HEAD CHAPEL, Lion's Head.  Expressions of remembrance to Golden Dawn Nursing Home would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.georgefuneralhome.com
