SUTHERLAND, James with family by his side at Lion's Head Hospital Thursday August 26, 2021. Jim Sutherland of Summer House Park, Miller Lake in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Roma (nee Teslia) for close to 50 years. Loved father of Jamie and his wife Janice of London and Mike and his wife Charlenne of Kanata and grandfather of Anna Rose, Jimmy, Olivia and Lily. Dear brother of Clare Jaksic (Joe) of Ottawa and brother-in-law of Eric Thurston of Ottawa. Predeceased by parents Anne (nee McNabb) and Glenn Sutherland and sister Mary Thurston. The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at the Lion's Head Hospital and Summer House Park as well as Peter and Janet Firth, Mimi Riddell, Ron and Barb Fick, Tom and Kerry Blunt, Bob and Deb Andrews, Rob and Don and Shirley Richardson and all of Jim's cherished friends from near and far.
