Obituary of Arlette London
LONDON, Arlette passed away with family by her side at Gateway Haven Nursing Home, Wiarton Ontario, Sunday, October 17, 2021 in her 91st year. Arlette was born in Jerusalem, Palestine September 18, 1931 and lived there until 1948. She and her parents later settled in Benghazi, Libya where she met and married her husband, Michael. In 1953, she came to Canada with her husband and infant daughter. She lived 62 years in Mississauga.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph Michael Ainsworth London (2005).
Cherished mother of Pat McKee (husband Ron) of Oakville, and Malcolm London (Irena) of Wiarton.
Much loved grandmother 'Taeta' of Sarina (Michael), Alice, and Michael (Zoë), and great grandmother of Evan, London, Mattea, and Griffin.
Fondly remembered by Heidi Krikorian, Alice Abusharr, Rasha Schneider, Basim Faris, Shari Krikorian, Joanne Duncan, Jacqueline Haslem, and Mary Suidan.
Predeceased by parents Marcelle (nee Asyoun) and Theodore Krikorian, sister Elsie Faris, brother Raymond Krikorian, and great-granddaughter Tessa.
She was devoted to her husband, St. Hilary's Anglican Church, her pets and the children in her life including her students at the Montessori School.
It gave her great joy to create a beautiful garden, celebrate Christmas, prepare Middle Eastern feasts for family and friends, and be in the company of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
