Obituary of Maro Troschke
We regret to announce the passing of Maro Troschke, 77, of Lion’s Head, ON (formerly of Waterloo, ON) on November 8th, 2021. She is survived by her loving husband Gerhard of 51 years. Cherished mother to Tony Troschke and wife Dianna of Waterloo and Hanna Schuiling and her husband Jason of Lion’s Head. Beloved Yiayia to Brianna and Andrew. Dear sister to Costa (Rina), Christella (Chris predeceased), John predeceased (Yanula) and Katina (Paul).
A private family funeral service will be conducted at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, LION’S HEAD CHAPEL, in Lion’s Head on Friday, November 19 2021. Interment to follow at Eastnor Cemetery, Lion’s Head. In lieu of flowers, Maro wished that expressions of remembrance be donated to the Christ the Saviour Antiochian Orthodox Church (Address: 96 Dunbar Road South, Waterloo, ON).
