Obituary of Donald Russell Standen

STANDEN, Donald Russell peacefully with family by his side at Grey Bruce Health Services, Lion's Head on Sunday evening December 5, 2021.  Don Standen of Lion's Head in his 92nd year.  Beloved husband of the late Marilyn Standen (nee Haye).  Cherished father of Rob and his wife Ann of Goderich, Don and his wife Mary Lynn of Wiarton, Debbie Tackaberry and her husband Doug of Lion's Head and Glenn and his wife Shelley of Rockland.  Much loved grandfather of 8 and great grandfather of 8.  Missed by many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by parents Sarah (nee Cooper) and Alfred Standen.

A private family funeral will be conducted at Christ Church Anglican, Lion's Head. 

Family and friends are invited to the spring interment at Eastnor Cemetery on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.  All attending are welcome to join the family following the service at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 202.  All current Covid guidelines must be followed.
